NSpa Melting Cleansing Gel

This marks review number 2 of the nspa goodies I was extremely lucky to be sent to review (you can find review 1 here). I wasn't holding out much hope for this product when I first saw it in my products to trial. Although I have heard good things about the majority of the nspa range, this one just happened to be the one product that I'd seen less than rave reviews about.

The nspa Melting Cleansing Gel is step 1 in the skincare routine. I have more than my fair share of cleansers in my stash but although I had seen less than favourable reviews, I wanted to give this a fair shot. I do like the fact that the product comes in a squeezy transparent tube. Not only does it make it easy to dispense product but you can also see just how much you've got left - handy for someone like me who often goes to throw things out (or into the empties pile) and find half a ton of product still stuck to the bottom!

I have never really tried a cleanser like this before. Application is made onto dry skin and is massaged in to the skin. Removal only requires some water and as soon as you touch the cleanser, it turns from a gel/oil style substance into a cleansing milk as such which makes it extremely easy to remove. I did find I had to use my eye makeup remover for my mascara & eyeshadow which isn't always necessarily with other cleansers but this isn't a big problem.

Whilst this isn't the most amazing cleanser I have ever tried, it is okay and the fact that is free from parabens and cruelty free does bring it up in the product stakes! At £6, this retails at a fraction of the cost of most other cleansers and is definitely worth a try - even if it isn't the most amazing thing in the world.

You can find nspa products on the nspa and Asda websites and in most Asda stores.

  2. I wasn't keen on this, much prefer a cleanser that removes my eye make up too!
